Shortly after Mia Kühn's family reported her missing, a school groundsman made a horrifying discovery when he stumbled upon her lifeless body. The police were immediately notified about the tragic finding, indicating a distressing turn of events.
According to Matome Chiloane, the Gauteng education member of the executive council (MEC), Mia Kühn was present at home on Monday evening. However, when her parents woke up the following day, she was no longer in the house. Chiloane explained that Mia's mother stated she was still at home at midnight, implying that she likely left later on. The next morning, when Mia couldn't be found, her parents promptly went to the police station to report her as missing. Subsequently, the police were notified about an incident at the school, leading to the tragic discovery of her body. The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the teenager's untimely demise.
"I have urged police not to waste any time. This situation affects the community and it's important that we put this case to bed quickly so we allow progress to move forward," Chiloane said.
