PSG Bursary for 2024

The company's offerings are organized into three primary categories: "PSG Insure," catering to both commercial and personal short-term insurance needs; "PSG Wealth," specializing in wealth management services for individuals, families, and businesses; and "PSG Asset Management," providing global funds, segregated portfolios, and local unit trusts tailored for both individuals and institutions.

What the PSG Bursary covers

The bursary will provide financial assistance, as well as the following benefits:

  • Mentoring, coaching and support
  • Entrance into the PSG graduate programme
  • Working experience within the financial services industry

Eligibility Requirements for the PSG Bursary

  • Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must have completed Matric
  • You must be studying towards one of the degree qualifications listed above
  • You must be an Honours or Masters student (or a final year student if studying Engineering)
  • You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 65%
  • You must be interested in pursuing a career in the financial services sector
  • You must be ambitious
  • You must be able to work well under pressure
  • You must be resilient
  • You must be energetic
  • You must be solution oriented
  • You must be able to work well in a team
  • You must pay close attention to detail
  • Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply
  • Preference will be given to students from designated groups
